Mr. Parsen is placed under
house arrest for stealing from his own bank, a writer interviews him
novel he’s planning to write about the crime.
Only it seems Parsens may have an unexpected ending to the novel… one
that involves deception, greed, and murder.
The Cat Came Back...
He had another plan in mind to get back his money that has been well
documented by now. At the time, I had no idea what he was planning, but
when he started peppering me with questions about the bank, his plan
came into focus. He told me he was going to give me a break and not
tell the cops I robbed him, and in return, he wanted me to help him rob
my own bank. When I informed him that I planned to confess anyway, he
looked at me with, shall we say, some skepticism, and then upped the
ante. He made it very clear that if I didn’t cooperate fully and do
exactly as he said, I wouldn’t have a chance to confess because he’d
kill me.... When I told him that T&M only had about $300,000 on
hand, he smiled and said he was more than happy to double his money.
